“Digital Innovation and Inclusive Entrepreneurship” Research Group

Welcome to our research group!  We are part of the department of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management” in faculty VII, Economics and Management. Our research combines business and entrepreneurship studies, management science, data science, and sociology to explore important socioeconomic phenomena, such as social networks, social innovation, socioeconomic integration, and female, migrant, refugee, and social entrepreneurship in Berlin, Germany, Europe and beyond.

I am very pleased to let you know that the Social Media + Society special issue on "Forced migration and digital connectivity in(to) Europe" has now been published online and open access.

This Special Collection historicizes, contextualizes, empirically grounds, and conceptually reflects on the impact of digital technologies on forced migration.

Elena Mostrovova
Elena started her PhD at the TUB Center of Entrepreneurship in 2015. Her research focuses on social entrepreneurship and social innovation. She is passionate about success factors and social impact measurement as well as about heterogeneity of social entrepreneurs. She is also interested in interdisciplinary methods of socio-economic research.
