multi-factor biometric authentication
Our idea
oculid is a Berlin-based startup on a mission to develop secure and convenient multi-factor biometric authentication. Our unique technology is based on the analysis of individual characteristics of eye movement. These cannot be imitated by others, nor can they be faked using video replay. The authentication is combined with a second factor, as oculid’s proprietary gaze-based PIN entry or a second biometric, to serve requirements of strong authentication as formulated e.g. in the PSD2 regulations. This facilitates the authorization of digital transactions or authentication for high-security applications by making these more secure and more convenient.
