Delivery systems for nucleic acid based drugs
Our idea
Pramo Molecular ("pramo" = "ferry" in Esperanto), develops covalently bound carrier molecules that transport therapeutic oligonucleotides like siRNA or antisense DNA into the target cells in a particularly efficient and compatible manner.
Transport problems across lipid membranes have prevented the use of nucleic acid agents to treat serious infectious, metabolic or cancer diseases. Pramo Molecular´s delivery molecules are particularly easy to manufacture in compliance with pharmaceuticals.
During our preclinical development we are also using humanized and murine 3D tissue models to limit animal testing.
