Our idea

Problem

100 million items, such as smartphones, keys and purses, are lost each year in Germany alone.
Often the finder has no way to contact the owner. This is the beginning of a time-consuming search in Lost&Found offices, which usually runs in the empty.

Need

Current solutions are not used widely since they are often ineffective, costly and often complicated due to the use of hardware and apps.

Solution

The technology behind reachtag allows for easy communication between a finder and the owner of an item. Users tag their items with reachtags and enable a finder to contact them through the tag. Our system ensures that no private date is exchanged and therefore the anonymity of the business or private owner is ensured.
