Monitor a patients vital signs continuously and contactless
Our Idea
The ViSSEIRO system is a component, which is integrated into lying and seating furniture to monitor physiological vital parameters. By using patented gel pads with sensors in variable size, it records in real time vital signs (heartbeat and respiration) without direct skin contact. This is capable even through the patients commonly worn textiles.
This approach is therefore particularly well suited for contactless long-term monitoring of physiological vital parameters during sleep or sitting. The advantages of the method compared to an ECG or pulse oximeter are that there is no direct skin contact between patient and sensor. As a result, the daily routine and the comfort of the user remain unaffected, while at the same time long-term and short-term trends of the vital parameters are determined. The software of the ViSSEIRO system allows a first evaluation and assessment of the measured data. Thus, acute events are detected, intelligently evaluated and an action can be initiated.
